THE ROARING GIRL - 2019
**** “Dynamic, fearless comedy” Cherwell
There's a wench called Moll, mad Moll or merry Moll, a creature so strange in quality a whole city takes note of her.
The Roaring Girl is a play about the high stakes of getting dressed. Based on the real-life criminal cross-dresser Mary Frith, this sharp city comedy follows Moll Cutpurse through the tricks, courtship and corsets of 17th century London.
We brought this production to the Michael Pilch studio in Oxford with multi-roling, striking choreography and truly exciting design.
